    Thanks,
Wont know how the shocks perform until we get it out on the trails but just as it sits i like em alot better and they give the quad more ground clearance off the bat. The bottom mount on the a-arm has to be modified slightly because the bottom shock mount is just a bit wider than stock, other than that its straight forward

Scored another craiglist find. Had my eyes set on some different tires but since this is a budget build and and not a race bike i dont have to be to critical.

I was going to go with some 18x9-8's just like the paddles but I found some Dunlop KT386 AT18x10-8's for $40 and i just couldnt pass em up, there in great shape.

Ah craigslist, i must be an addict

Picked up a fox chest protector for my son for $10, its ruff but no cracks. I had a few extra minutes on my hands so i had to spruce em up a bit

my son hasnt seen them yet but i think he'll like em

    Illville,

The quad looks great, what size motor did you get?

Wanting to upgrade to a VM26 Mikuni and have found many ranging in price from $40-$115 on ebay. I dont know if the cheap ones are clones or not. How do you tell the difference?

Example this one is $42 and states it is a VM26

VM26-606 one is $49 and is bolt on

    MIKUNI 26MM VM26-606 ROUND SLIDE CARBURETOR $85

Can anyone help me please, and is this the best choice for this specific motor setup?

Thats the best carb, but my thoughts are to much carb for a 125. just my $.02

If you had a 140 or larger, i would say yes.

Would a VM24 be a better choice or should i just stick with the 22mm Mikuni i have?

Want the biggest carb i can run without have any negative effects, im new to this so i dont quite know the formula.

I posted the engine specs on the first page if it helps

    thanks again for any input,

    Billy
