i just got mine and a pipe, still a turd, the 189$ cdi is the same brand as whats on it, scdrappydogscooters sells them for 20$!!!!! i bet you thats where hetrick gets them from, even the pipe said made in taiwan on it, i think maxrpm only scatches their name on the silencer, bike makes a lot of noise and doesnt move, i gues i have to play with the rollers and gearing, stock predator is still way faster!!

Remove the 2 front rollers, change gear to 36T Rear 16T front , ad a PE20mm carb and you will have a new machine. Im just looking for that extra 1,000rpm that the CDI gives but my sons DS is running great and beats the predators. My son's DS also have the hetrick pipe, Twin air filter and change all clutch springs to 1500rpm.

hey, what do you mean by removing front 2 rollers? there are 6, i was thinking it might need heavier rollers, i got the 1500rpm springs in the back already, the bike just reves doesnt really move, you would think a 4 stroke has a bit torque but it just feels dead, top speed is around 25mph right now, and yes gearing is way off to,

I took it to a mechanic near home that his son have ds90 that is really fast and i put the same mods he have, performance exhaust, 20mm carb, 16-36 sprocket(OEM=40T Rear 16TFront) , twin air filter, 1500rpm srings and he told me he was going to remove the 2 of the front rollers. After this I think my sons ds90 runs like 38MPH but I dont have a gps reading. In 2 months Im going to try 17T front 37t rear sprocket.
