    Starting troubles

Hello, I have been having trouble starting my 300. It has Big Gun exhaust, uni filter, and I thing that it has had the main jet changed. I bought it this was so I think that is all.

Now to the problem. When it is cold or it has not been started in a while I have to work the throttle to get it to start. After it starts I have to keep it at a higher idle until it warms up. After I have rode it for a while it runs fine. I can kill it and start it right back up.

I'm not very good with carbs, I think that is the problem, so any help that y'all can give me would be a great help.

    Thanks in advance.

Most likely your carb is fine. Sounds like the valves are to tight. To be more specific it is most likely your intake valves.

    I set mine at .004
