    cr85 shift shaft removal

    Can anybody tell me what needs to be done to change out the shift shaft (or whatever it's called) from a 2004 cr85.

    most of the time all you need to do is remove the clutch cover and slide it through the case and out then put the new one in and reseal. you will see the alignment pin that it locks on

    You're going to have to pull the clutch cover and then pull the clutch basket off in order for the shifter fork to slide out a clutch side
