I've got a YZ85 mod in a Cobra frame. The biggest issue that I have had with it is trying to get it to launch. Since it doesn't have a power valve, it doesn't have as much torque as the PV motors do. Once it gets up to rpm, it runs really well. It really forces the rider to stay in the perfect gear all of the time.

Your mod will probably weigh a bit more and may make it noticeably sluggish off of the line. You might want to switch out the SST to a Fatty and add a torque spacer in front of the reeds. Those two changes should help it.

That's not easy to answer. It depends on what tires you are using, track length, soil conditions, etc.

We run 15/42 on some tracks, and 15/46 on others. We'll even drop to 14/46 on some really small flat tracks in sticky conditions.

Your best bet might be to ask people that run the same tracks that you do.
