    Foot Peg Bolt Question

So Im piecing togethor an R from pieces. I ordered a kit offline 613 piece set. Anyways they for some reason did not incude the footpeg bolts or the spindle nuts and I need them. So I looked on service honda and it said 10x40. So I went to lowes and bought 10 X 1.5 bolts these are loose and do not fit or snug up so what gives, Maybe it has been tapped out to a larger size. Does anyone know what size bolt to use and the thread pitch?

    metric fine thread

The metric pitch for Honda is 10 X 1.25
The length you have 40mm is correct.

It was 7/16 x 14 and it was 1.25" Worked like a champ, but i had to drill out the footpeg mounting holes a little bit because it was tapped a little bit off.
