Need help with vinson rim vs king quad rim, fitment?

I bought a set of rims that came off of my friends STRAIGHT AXLE 500 VINSON and I'm considering having them powdercoated and put on my 450 IRS KING QUAD. The backspacing is at least 1'' different but I pulled off my king quad's rear wheel and put on the Vinson rim and everything cleared fine.

Does anyone know if the swap is possible?
Here is the 450 King Quad's tire and rim

Here is the deeper 500 Vinson rim

Stick it on there and see what happens.

From the pics it looks like it might just stick out really far

You are right, it sticks out waay too far. So I'm not going to use them.

So you cannot use rims from a straight axle on an IRS bike. Or vise versa.
