    2011 Cobra ECX Chasis Changes?

Anybody have one of these new chasis'? I hear there are a few changes but haven't seen or heard what they are other than the extra $1K. I might have to bite the bullet and get one of these machines one day. Came real close to getting one but stayed loyal to our sponsor and went with the Apex 85 shifter.

The main difference is that Cobra is now making their frames in house (no more Jon Arens). Other than a few gussets here and there it is basically the same.

There is a new front end in the works but not sure how soon they will go into the production models. My best guess would be 2012. We currently have the prototype and it's working great.

Cobra hasn't raised the price since 2009. Not sure where you heard that they went up $1000 but that's not true.
