    12:1 piston HELP

can I run a 12:1 compression piston and lets say shave .020 on the head and still have the right piston to valve clearance?

    what would you do that?
what are you looking for 14:1 compression so you can run 118 octane or nitro in your quad? when it starts if it starts you will blow the head right off the cylinder!!!

wanna go fast buy a souped up 400ex or a honda 450r both stock are fast. if you dont ride alot i would recomend the 400ex but if you have experince the get the honda 450r

i have had 400ex's and built a few of them and I have also owned yzf's and 450r's but I have done this on the 400ex several times. I don't think that .020 or so will make much of a difference on compression but i may be wrong.

I basically just want a clean surface.
