Maintenance for Yamaha YFZ 450

1.Change Oil and Oil Filter every 20-25 Hours

2. Start Your Quad and let it Warm up and then Turn it off

3.Take off Skid Plate

4.Put a Pan down to Catch the oil

5.Loosen Two Bolts one under the engine case and the other at the bottom of the Oil Tank

6.Wait for every drop of oil to drip from the tank and case, Then install the two bolts that were Removed

7.Remove the Oil Filter Cover and Oil Filter

8.Oil Filter is on right side of the Motor 3 Allen key Bolts hold it on

9.Oil Filter Scotts Performance Stainless Steal Reusable Oil Filter. (Better than the $15 Yami Plastic Filter) . it Might cost a little more at First but u will be Glad you bought it.http://www.scottsperformance.com/pro...=3&Bike=Yamaha

10.put a little bit of oil on the new filter Seal before you put it back on

11.Reinstall the New Oil Filter and oil filter cover

12. Now to Pour the new oil in

13.Oil to use Amsoil MCF 10W-40 (Best Choice)http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/mcf.aspx

14.Put like 1/2 Quart in crankcase & 1.5qt in oil Tank

15. Reinstall the Skid Plate and Check the oil Level

16.Start up the Bike and Listen and Watch for any Leaks

17. IF theres no leaks yours all Set!

18. To Clean the Scotts Performance Stainless Steal Reusable Oil Filter. Take it out and Wash it with hot Soapy Water and let it Dry for a Few Hours
