In which ways would it affect my 250r to go from an 8" rim to a 9" rim? or would i be better off staying with the 8" rim instead?

If you switched to a 9 inch rim you would have to rejet your carb.
Just kidding. Stick with the 8 inch rim.
Only rejet...thats not bad, i figured i would have to rebuild the top end to do that...lol
only thing bad about the 8" rims is doesnt seem to be a big tire selection for them
What kind of tires are you wanting?
88 250R C-Leigh Racing 310 Pro-X 6 Mil,Deaf Man Chassis,ESR,CR ignition,Combs Custom Coatings
88 250R Hybrid Eng. 496 Saber, Stellar Machine & Performance, Tyson Racing, McCoys Performance
07 450R HRC kit,Rossier,Burgard,Skat~Trak,DFR,IMS
well were i ride we have alot of both soft terrian and mud, so am guessing i would like some times with an aggressive tread to it
I like 9" wheels with 20" tires and 10" wheels with 22" tires.
mx I'd say stay with 8" rim and 18" tires, but if your a trailrider go with the 9" rim and 20's plus the manufacturers make 18" tires for the 9" rim now, if you put a 20" tire on a 8" wheel it's gonna have lots of roll in the turn which is bad.
