Big bore auto's

Hey is there anybody that builds a 70cc auto or bigger out there?? I may be interested if so........................thanks.

Paul from Wiley Mods builds a 85 cc single speed that runs real strong. A friend that races with us loves it, it is a real torgue monster.

Paul builds the 70 single speeds. we ran them in 2008 and they are virtually unbreakable.

Wiley mods 70 has won the championship in the 70 class in 2008 2009 and WPSA IN 2007. And numerous 50 championships also.

Corey Heath and Jordan Digby pretty much ruled that class again this year and I know Heath runs Wiley motors.
( Jordan digby did win the championship this year and I think Corey was 2nd)

You can go as big as you want really. Just get a Japanese motor and put an auto clutch on it. I've contempated doing that with my sons so that he can race in more classes.

I guess that would work too. The only thing is it would then not be Production class legal according to the ATVA.

Actually there are a few classes it can run in at ATVA.

It is not as simple as bolting a big top end on, to run correctly the engine cases must me machined. ( in 2007 we ran a Wiley Mods 75 cc auto in the 90 prod jr class and it was respectable)

Actually it was so respectable back then that dist 14 stopped allowing in the 90 prod class.

there are a lot of people supposedly building these but we have never seen anyones other than Wileys hold up.

Obviously, you need to take into consideration the rules for your racing organization.

Paul could probably put an auto clutch on his RMC 90 and put that in production class.

I think Chase Horton and Corey Heath won both 90 auto classes on that set up.

I think this post was referring to the single speed 50 motors being increased in displacement.
Actually we have one that Paul built that is a big bore stroker on the 50 bottom end that we ran last weekend and it flew.

He is the man for these single speeds.
