    My 250R & 450R

Here are a couple pics of my 1986 TRX250R and my 2007 TRX450ER... It's hard to imagine there is 21 years difference between them. They are pretty dusty and dirty from sitting in the shop, but I thought I'd share. Which would you ride?

    250r for sure

Sweet rides! Althought i'd have too go with the R. Kinda crazy but doesn't the chassis on the newer 450 look familiar??? What's that saying, the more things change the more they stay the same??? PROOF the 250R was WAAAYYYYY ahead of it's time!

I'm not really sure which one is faster... All my riding buddies sold their rides, during the year long restoration of the 250R and it hasn't been on dirt since November of 2009.

I bought the 450R as a junker and partially rebuilt/cleaned/polished it back into its current state. They are both just kinda decorating the shop now, waiting on a chance to go to the dunes.

I know the 250R's handling is way ahead of the 450R's, but I would expect the HRC 450R to be faster in 100 yards. Their top speeds are very close with stock-tooth sprockets.
