    Question 300ex pouring out gas?

I haven't rode my 300ex in about 2/3 weeks and today i pulled it out and i noticed something. Every time i turned my gas on it was just flowing out the over flow valve { I think thats whats it's called }. It runs fine and every thing so i know its not the jet's or anything but could it be my float hung up or something.I would like to have a second opinion thanks.

Tapping on the side of the bowl will sometimes free the float. But, it's probably only a temporary fix. Everything should be cleaned to prevent it from happening again.

there is a screw on the carb by the yellow choke handle. this lets gas through if open (left) this is a way if you have any water in it to get that out. i believe thats what its made for. anyway try turning that to the righ (closed)
