2010 AMA ATV Motocross Nationals #4 - Sunset Ridge - Live ATV Race Coverage

Walnut, IL - The racing action headed west to Sunset Ridge MX in Walnut, IL for Round 4, and once again the track has several big chances including a completely new pro section, which is the most challenging of the year with a whoops section and rhythm section of 6 descent size doubles in a row. Most are taking on two at a time, but a few are tripling through the section, which requires perfect timing

In addition to the new pro section, another set of whoops has been added to the main track along with some other minor changes, but there are still plenty of jumps with several big air table tops.

#1 Dustin Wimmer was looking as smooth as ever through the Pro section, and the recorded the fastest lap-time in both Pro practices

#9 Josh Creamer still doesn't feel he has the new rhythm section dialed in, but it didn't slow him down much as he recorded the 2nd fastest lap times in both practices & the Rockstar / Makita / Suzuki Duo dominated the track on Saturday, but Sunday is when it counts, so it will be interesting to see who pulls out the fastest time in the morning qualifier

Hometown favorite, Can-Am / Motoworks' Chad Wienen, can't be counted out either because he rounded out the top three on Saturday, and his time was only .124 seconds slower than Wimmer's time.
