Few questions of changing timing chain&guides(fuji engine)

Cam chain and guides needs to be changed to new ones, ticking etc..valve clearances are ok.

    1. Do i need any special tools?
    2. Do i have to take the clutch out before i can release chain from the lower chain sprocket?
    3. How about assembling chain guides? just clutch cover off and change them?

I got the service manual but it doesnt give me answers to these questions.

    Sorry about bad english!

I am still learning too, but I just did piston rings and adjusted the valves without any special tools. I did need to go to the dealer and by shims.

One of my guides i could pull right out when the head was off, but the other did not. Maybe i could have tried harder, but I did not need to replace them.

Got some better pictures of the fuji engine and it helped me a lot.

I assume that the guide that you took off just by pulling was the one that is on the front side of the cylinder?(exhaust valve side)
The other guide(carb side) is bolted to the engine behind the clutch so i need to remove the clutch before it can be changed.

yea, the one towards the exhaust slid right out and the one towards the intake did not.
