    Need opinions on a 09-10 Sportsman 400 or 500

Well, a great friend of mine is really interested in the Sportsman 400 or 500. Any reviews from people that already own them, what price did you end up paying out the door??

Also any other general info you might have, would be great. Thanks for the help!!!

wife has an 08 400 and I have an 09 500. Have them for just over a year and have been real pleased with their performance and durability.

I really like the size of my 400. Especially on small woodland trails. I have never needed more power. If you didn't know, the 400 engine is 455cc.

I have an 09 500 and love it. It's really a personal choice, but the extra features of the 500 did it for me. I need to pull a trailer sometimes, so I need an ATV with a low gear and the 09 400 didn't have one. I also didn't like the way the front rack didn't extend past the front tires on the 400. There's not much difference in the power or price just a few features. You just need to decide if those features are worth the extra money. Hope this helps.
