    question about yfz 450

    quick question where yamaha stopped producing the yfz (not the r) am i still able to run 450c and 4 stroke c classes in ama nationals.. i know its a silly question but i just want to know.

    i think so, there is a time span thats acceptable for it to be considered production, ud have to check the atva site

    the production rules state that any machine manufactured within the last five years within the cc limits of that class and posessing the necessary safety equipment is legal, so as long as the last model year of whatever your racing is less then five years ago your good anddddddd i don't think that the ama is going to rule the original yfz illegal after 5 years due to the release of the yfzr it will most likely be fine until the entire yfz concept is gone
    i don't know whats better, gettin laid or getting paid i just know that when i'm getting one the others gettin away

    the yfzr and yfz are about as alike as a 450r and 250r so id say after the 5 yrs is up, get on a yfzr
