I have been told that if you use the cdi off the raptor 80 they will go from 11 MPH to 22 MPH, I have not tried it yet but will once the kid gets used to the quad

    Raptor 50

The single largest performance gain you'll get is to change the carb. slider and throttle cable lever arm to a raptor 80 one. this will give the machine full throttle capability. then change the CDI to a raptor 50 or raptor 80 high rev version. I would highly suggest you add a set of wheel spacers as the machine can be unstable around tight corners with its new found performance.

As far as the wheel spacers go for a kids play quad you can get the lug extenders off of e bay for around 25 a set shipped to you. You would need one set for the front and one for the rear. I have seen some listed for the raptor 50. Make sure you get the correct lug size and thread pitch for your quad.
