    EDTR setup questions.

Getting the quad setup for racing and have a few questions for you guys.(new to TT stuff)

    1. What width rim should I run in the rear for a 19x10x10 tire(American Racer)8...9...10?

    2. I assume a 5" rim is used for the front 18X6x10???

    3. Also is it OK to just back off the preload on the rear shock to lower the ride height or should I have the shock travel shortened to limit excessive down travel(no-link)?

    4. I was planning on just running shorter shocks on the front with long travel arms. Is that the normal way of going about it?

    Thanks much, Stephen.

    1. 9 or 10" width works best.

    2. 5" or 6" on the front. Depends on what tires you're using.

    3. You can back off the preload but shortening the shock would work better.

    4. yes, you can do that. On my KTM I'm running 17" length front shocks with the stock long travel geometry.

    I'd run a 10x5 with those.

I use the 4+1 yellow labels up front and the 10x9 .160's in the rear. I have used .190's also. Either one is fine. The .190's will be just a little heavier.
