Sweet, where did you buy it and how much $$. Black/Red? or Grey/Black.

How do you like it compared to the 400ex?
05 King Quad (green with newer VIN)
    04 400ex (red)
    02 400ex (yellow)

    Black and silver

Just over $5200 OTD from Cedar Creek Motorsports in WI

From the little riding i did it does ride a little different than the 400EX. The EX was a pin it and pound threw everything and it did with the 450R fronts and GT thunder dual rates and revalves. I loved the 400, but the 700 is just plush and with the EFI and the power I'm lovin it already. Very easy bike to ride. I can't wait to get her broken in and really see what she has

Things you might want to check before riding.

Check the front wheels for having shipping washer's between the wheel and the hub this seems to be somewhat common. There should be no washers on your stock wheels anywhere.
Also remove the screw for the fuel valve and reinstall it with blue medium strength loctite. Several people have lost the valve knob as it fell off. Mine was loose.
Tighten the allen head bolts on the exhaust heat shield, they will most likely be loose. Check them again after you get it hot.

Check the clutch free play I read where someone loose a clutch because he received it from the dealer with a mis-adjusted clutch.

If you want more perf the cheapest easiest mod is 13t front sprocket. If one for a 700 is not listed get one for a 450r. The machine is way high geared stock.

Thanks man I appreciate the heads up on that stuff. I'll check that out this weekend. Fuel valve? the petcock? not sure what you mean there. I'll look into that 13T sprocket.

Yes petcok, make sure it is installed correctly, I hear the knob can be installed wrong also.
