    505 motor same as bike?

    Just curious if the 505 sx motor is virtually the same as the one found in the bike? i know they changed the oil system to hold more oil, but could someone buy the dirtbike clutch, piston, head etc? just curious what is different...

    Somewhat yes but no NOT 100% the same, there are differences.

    crank, stator, flywheel and that whole side case. Other than that they are pretty identical, piston head cylinder and all that is the same.
