250R Mainly Stock Build Qs using some 400ex parts

I have a 250r that is stock other than pipe. I have a Paul Turner pipe on it and have had the R for about 15 years. I just put a new piston in it and want to start riding it some in the woods. I have been riding a 400EX but the motor is shot and I am going to part it out.

Was wondering if I should use some of the parts off the 400 on the R. I don't really have any money to throw at the R so was wanting to use what I could off the 400. Do the A-Arms fit? worth the swap out? What about the shocks? Brakes?

If anyone has some ideas I would appreciate some input.

    thanks

front shocks work, front spindles and hubs work.
you should really check out the compatability chart for this.

I found the chart and looked at what will fit.
Will the A-Arms be worth the change out?

I think I will change out the 24 year old shocks, can't hurt.
