this was today on lunch. i converted the front hubs to 300ex ones and put low hour 300ex shocks on

That's a sweet project.And for 100 bucks you cant beat it.
Way back before the 400ex came out.Everyone used a 250x/300ex chassis and put a 350x motor in them.Way back than I bought a real nice frame,suspension and brakes.Along with a lot of other parts.Than the 400ex came out.And I got one.So all the parts sat.Well my 400ex was stolen in june.So while I was scanning craigslist looking for my bike.I found a running 250x for 125 bucks.It was basicly the frame,gas tank,wiring harness,engine,front suspension.I couldn't resist.Since I already had a nice chassis it was perfect.So I drove way out in the sticks one night and came home with it.
Than I found another another one.Complete bike.With works front shocks with res's,dg bumper,full skids,dg exhaust,nice plastic,dg nerf bars.For 300 with a title.But the motor is locked up tight.
So now for 425 dollars.I have two 250x's.There projects but both will be nice when done.Its pretty crazy how cheap these things get let go.There great little bikes.

thats awesome. you have got really good deals. i really enjoy these little quads more than my 440ex just cuz its fast. my fiance rides a 300ex we rebuilt this year
