    Exclamation Kickstart Problems!!!???

Ok so i have an 05 450r and i took the right crankcase cover off to put a new gasket on and my kickstart worked fine before and now it wont spring back up after i have kicked it down i even put new springs and thrust washers and a new collar on the spindle.
95% sure i put everything back correctly (I followed the manual).
But any advice on what could be wrong would help me out a ton.

I would double check the spring around the kicker output shaft. That is the only thing brings the kicker back to the original position.

    Alright will do.
but there is nothing else that would cause it to stick down?

I've heard of it getting stuck underneath the brake pedal, but that would be pretty obvious. Make sure the spring is in the right hole in the case. If I remember correctly, there's a couple places the spring could go on the 04/05 models.

Your engaging gear (one that pulls out with the stop on return) has a dot to align with the shaft splines. If not in the right spot it won't wind the spring enough!

    kicker

theres 2 dots that must align on kicker gears and the part of the gear must go in between the stoppers by edge of case!!
