    CT river motocroos track

anyone know when they open and when is the 1st quad day. also i have never been there before and have never even been on a track before so if anyone has any info on the track it would be nice. (how long the jumps are, what gears to hit them in, ect) also what ridding gear do you need. on the website it says nothing about chest protectors but do you need one? any help would be nice thanks.

they most likely won't be open before april and at that point the timeframe depends on how high the river rises from the melt because the tracks do flood, quad days are not set dates you'll have to either call consistently or keep an eye on the neatv website to see if anybody posts about a quad day (someone usually does). as far as safety gear goes they require the basics and expect you to use your head.
i don't know whats better, gettin laid or getting paid i just know that when i'm getting one the others gettin away

After the river floods, Tony will get the track ready...timeframe is a good question and varies year to year.

Keep an eye on ctmotocross.com, they usually post on the front page the "next quad date."

As for what you need for personal safety stuff...
    Helmet
    Riding boots
    MX gear
    googles

    On the quad...
    nerf bars
    kill switch

Not sure about removing all lights.

All the jumps you can roll over. Tony changes the track each year (and during the year) but it is safe for all levels. Well...as safe as you are in throttle control.

Another option is to hit some NEATV races/practice days. Usually (at some tracks) the Saturday before the races we have practice days. But be warned...all it takes is once on a track to get hooked.
