Has anyone used the Fox Float R series shocks?

I wonder if these would be an economical way to move into a better shock. I'm currently running a set of Works PRO series fronts, but for the cost of revalving, springing and rebuilding it almost makes since to switch.

I have never ran them but I have worked on them. They are similar to the Evol just without as many adjustments. Still an adjustable air spring around a fluid dampened shock with a piston and shim type valving. I think they could work well for a budget rec rider
