well I just joined the club...

I just added this to the collection, as a ride for my son.
    I hope I made a good choice.
as you can see in the pics, it is TOTALLY THRASHED, and in need of a COMPLETE Overhaul.
I hope that after I touch up the 3 scrtaches, and 6 particles of dust that I found on it, it will serve my boy well...

So I guess I'll be joining your ranks, and picking your brains now, for what I need to know or be aware of, reguarding the "new" addition to the family.

It looks great nice and clean and it has the headlight, my daughter wants one on her quad. Is there a dealer near you? Where are you living now? I would say that the Kymcos hold up just as well as any of the other mini quads out there. Hope your son enjoys it

I'm in Orange County, Ca. near Disneyland, or Angel Stadium.
Although I did buy it used, it is in nearly showroom condition. I do have a few dealers not too far from me.
I hope this holds up well, I dont usually go with the off-brands, but they (kymco) seem to be gaining some respect.

My Son has not seen it yet. I need to adjust the throttle limiter before I let him loose on it.

Nice new ride! I would love to have the headlight on my sons Kymco but I refuse to pay $80 for it now! Good deal.

Here's a few pics with it out in the sunlight.
Like I said, It looks like it's been hammered on pretty hard and never been maintained well at all,... LOL!!!

I took a few laps around the yard on it today, and it is flawless.
Can't wait to give it to my son, and get some seat time in.
This should be a perfect quad for him.
    Good times are ahead !

Haha Pappy, I guess your referring to the headlight mod I did for my daughters trx90 ???
btw- it actually works pretty well !, Certaintly not as well as a HID set-up, but plenty good enough to see the trail at night, to get back to camp.

    Low cost mods ???
ok, you got me goin' now.....
So what are the popular mods to be doing to the 90cc size quads?
I know absolutely nothing about these things right now.
I will be reading the mactory Maintaince manual tonight , as well as the owners manual, and whatever other paperwork is in the box of stuff that came with it.

But MODS ???, Low cost ???,...now were talkin' my language lol!
what do you guys like to do to these things?
one thing I did notice was how stiff the front shocks feel.
Are there any softer springs available, that can be installed on the stock shock bodies?
