What camera do you recommend??

Time to buy a new camera. Looking at the Nikon D5000 with two VR lenses (18-55, 55-200) for 914 out the door.... (no accessories)

Have a 1000 budget for this. Is there a better way to spend my grand???

Check the Canon line as well.....tons of deals out there. Most of the kit lenses will get you started

I just bought a Canon rebel XSI and Im thrilled with it. Great camera and with your budget you can get a lens to go with it.
