    blaster rebuild

    have a 2001 yamaha blaster with a +4mm crank and have bought a 68mm piston for it as well can any1 tell me where my cc's are going to be @ when its bored,honed, n instaslled

    it is going to be 221cc's. what other mods are you doing?
    1995 Blaster. Bored .040" , midrange ported, head rechambered, pro series reeds, FMF fatty/Dg silencer, lightened flywheel, +4 timing, Hydro brakes, Lonestar +2 a-arms, Works dual rate G-series shocks, +2 swingarm,. More to come

    Enough cc's to have to rebuild it every year at best!

    it has full fmf pipe a 34mmpj carb +3 swingarm banshe axle its a project 4 my kid so i can get him off my 426ex damn kids

    heres formula.. bore x bore (in inches), x .7854, x stroke (in inches) x 16.387

    68mm=2.677 bore
    61mm=2.401 stroke

    it should run strong. Are you having it ported? If so it should easily beat a stock 400ex..

    loose the fmf if you want maximum performance you need a right bend pipe i had my blaster worked so it would beat a 400ex stock np. get a dynoport if you go on ebay their $320 but so worth it
