Buchanan, MI - Rockstar/Makita Suzuki's Dustin Wimmer appeared to have finally fully recovered from his midseason injury as he catapulted back into the points lead with just two rounds of the 2009 ITP/Moose Racing AMA ATV Motocross Championship left to go. In dramatic fashion, Wimmer stole first overall in the final lap at Pleasure Valley while previous AMA Pro ATVMX Championship Points leader Chad Wienen had a miserable day and ended up handing the points lead back to Wimmer.

Pleasure Valley saw some of the closest racing yet to be seen, and with Wimmer taking the lead almost 30 points ahead, and Weinen's loss at Pleasure Valley, second place has boiled down to three separate riders.Wienen, Honda's Joe Byrd and Doug Gust are embroiled in a fight to take a place behind or against Wimmer. Wienen and Byrd are separated by only two points and Gust 12 points behind Byrd. With Wimmer's injury and fast recovery, and Wienen's virtual worst to best run in the points standings, this championship could still be left to anyone.

A state with an affinity for off-road recreational vehicle use, RedBud owns the bragging rights to the highest attended U.S. motocross race year after year.
