Greasing a arms and other stuff

I know there are no grease fittings on the 400ex a arms, but what is a good way to help prevent the bushings from wearing out too quick? I spray them with wd-40 after washing then i hit them with a lubricant the next day after sitting to dry out. Is this a good way or what do you guys do? how about the steering stem and other moving parts?

Some ppl mod them and install grease zerks IMO would be better as with non grease able parts they will wear out no matter what with time.
