    Exhaust heat Help

Hey, just curious if anyone has made any mods to the exhast to sheild the heat. I was out yesterday and it got pretty hot, I wear boots so not too big of a problem but my nephew didn't have his one and got pretty hot for him. Any ideas appreciated.

I have used header wrap too help sheild some of the heat.
a roll of 1"x50' from jegs.com cost me around $20. If you are still running the stock exhaust either pull the spark arrestor completely or add aditional holes in it to allow for the increase in air flow.

I was going to try the tape but didn't think of the Spark Arrestor. Thanks.

Keep in mind that these come very lean from the factory and a leaner engine is going to have hotter exhaust temperatures.

If you take out the exhaust spark arrestor you will only make it leaner.

You need a programmer to richen the mixture up.
