    `05 viper 90r 2 stroke?

    my sons viper has lost power when climbing hills. the engine bogs istead of staying revved up like it used to. any ideas? ive checked copression its just as good as new and cleaned the carb which didnt change anything and the cdi is turned all the way up.
    `01 4?? ex hotrods 4mm stroker crank custom .80 bore je piston. ct porting , Procircuit T4 full exhaust,AC nerfs, Maier fenders,450r front shocks revalved at east coast atv, revalved rear shock, AC front bumper `04 scrambler 500 HO `08 vstar 1300 `05 400ex stock `92 lt250r `89 honda 250r

    Maybe a bad torque spring?

    Yep next place to go is the clutchs..... is it good on the flat...??

    still does pretty good on flat ground the hills are whats giving trouble. Also should i put stock back in or upgrade to a 1500 rpm red torque spring and maybe even the upgraded clutch springs?

    First get the clutchs all apart and check it out (front and rear). Is the motor stock..?? making clutch mods with out more HP will make it worse. If the motors stock just freshing it all up will make it run like it used to. Did you check the comp. with a gauge....what did you get.

    fixed it the rollers in the variator had worn grooves and were hanging up. sanded the grooves smooth and the problem is fixed new variator should be here next week. thanks for the input.
