In both the heat race and main, they would swap positions several times for the lead!

These machines may look unusual to anyone who hasn;t seen them run, but they work and work well and are smoking fast!

It wasn't all fun and games however as mother nature decided we all needed a break. A nice frontal cloud moved towards us and everyone took shelter. It rained for about 30 minutes, just enough time for me to catch some rest

The track was turned into a mess and it was soon appearant that we had atleast a few hours of waiting until the crews could get it back in racing shape

The boredom that is associated with a big stop in the action can be welcome or hated. Things started jumping however as a big old water slide was going to be fabbed up on site!
