    not enough belt travel??

Anyone have a answer why the belt will not travel all the way to the top of the front variator, when I mark it I still have 1/4" of the mark left on the belt surface. For the track we run the most I run 4.5 or 4.0 rollers and 2000 rear spring but even when running heavier rollers it still the same outcome. We run 180x16.5x30 belt Thanks

From what I've read on here, I don't think you can get it to ride any higher w/o modifying the clutch itself or use an aftermarket clutch. Ours is about 1/8" from the top, but I don't want to run it any higher.
