    xr400 cam

I just ordered a xr400 cam and a je 10.5:1 piston.I was talking to some one from eastcoast atv and was told that i had to change my rockers to run the xr cam that it is a hardened cam is this true if so it wouldnt be worth the money doing all that. Are there any things I need to watch out for when doing this change.

    Thumbs up

It may be helpful to rub some fine sandpaper or emerycloth across the rocker faces before you install the cam. Just scratching the face is good enough. Buy a XR400 head gasket to get 10.5:1 the EX gasket is thicker.
