    Jetting Chart.

    i have an idea for the next sticky.

    we all should build a jetting chart for the 250r that will help guys make jetting changes as they modify their engines based on region and such.

    we would have to get it based on the stock engine and make the setups for several carbs and the progression of many different modifications.

    i know this sounds like a challenging task but it would be a great thread.

    if alot of us contribute it will not be that hard.

    PLEASE GIVE SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO GET STARTED.

    Why ?
    its easy just call or email sudco, tell them what carb you have and what is done to your motor and they will give spot on jetting.
    works every time

    if so, there would be alot less jetting threads on here. guys get the ESR kits and they can't even get the jetting spot on for them.
    If you can't modify it why have it???

    people could post their setups in a format like something like

    displacement
    stock/stroker crank
    headwork/porting/reeds
    pipe
    stock / aftermarket ignition

    carb model / size
    mainjet / pilot / needle clip / screw setting

    maybe throw in drive sprockets?

    I know this would help out a lot of people. z400central does something like this

    You'll also need riding altitude and the season you're jetted for.

    I disagree. The "Pre-jetted" carb I got was jetted so rich it wasn't funny.
