    cross country

Does anyone know of any crooscountry races somewhat close to middle tn. other than gncc. I'm not having much luck. The mid-south hare scrambles don't allow youth quads. We will go to a few gncc races but can't go to all of them. I'd like to find some closer to give my son more opportunity to attend more races. Thanks

You can check out OXC (MO) and IXCR (IN), but they are probably 4+ hours from you. I don't know if they have kids, but there is a series in AR that may have a race or 2 maybe close enough. My son races a 90 in the OXC and they usually have 10-15 racing.

Thanks for the info. I checked out OXC. The closer ones were 6hrs. It also said that the races were only 20-30 min. long. Is that true?

Yes they are only 30 min. long plus 1st places last lap. Yes 6 hrs. is too long for 30 min. unless you race also. I ran a IXCR race last year and I believe most of them were in the southern part of Indiana. Not sure about this year though.
