    chain on a 85 lt250r

    i have an 85 lt250r and iam tryin to tighten the chain but cant get the carrier bolts lose does anyone know if i could just take a few links out of the chain and that will solve the problem

    why cant you get them loose? are you not strong enough? or they rusted? it would be better if you got them loose and tightened you chain the proper way.

    which swingarm do u have? the boxy one? or the one with the 4 allen bolts?

    the one with the 4 allen bolts yea they're rusted i dont want to break them than have to retap them again

    just soak them in wd-40 for a day or too they come free
