    '96 350 big bear

So I've been riding my dads big bear while waiting for parts for my 450r and found out how slow it really was. It tops out at about 25 mph in high gear. It's the 2 wheel drive model. On the brake side, on the block it says increase above a "screw" and decrease beside the "screw" ( By screw I mean something a flat head will fit in). I just want to know what the screw is for, before I screw up his 4 wheeler.

that will not effect your speed one bit, DON'T TURN THAT!!!
that screw increases/decreases the pressure on a shifter peice(not sure what it's called)
