    jeting help

    i need help jeting a 400ex..
    stock motor
    no airbox lid
    foam filter
    fmf powercore 4 exhaust tip

    jeting is at stock now what should i do ? main jet sizes? pilot sizes? needle position? air screw fuel
    ? lemme know thanks

    I would try a 155 main, 42 pilot, 2 1/2 turns out and needle on the 3rd clip from the top

    i agree on the 155 main jet, but IMHO a 42 pilot is to big. i would go no bigger than a 40 pilot.

    yeah you might be right about the 42 pilot, I live in Missouri with no choke so it seems that is always my first answer as that is what I run but if you still have a choke the 40 will work for ya
