    Need some advice

Just got a deal on a 2005 Raptor 350 with a bunch of upgrades for $1500. Bike will be an addition to my garage. Here's the deal-I was looking for an ltz 400, kfx 400, or 400 ex. My price range is $1500.

    Question-Should I hold out for a 2000 thru 2003 400? or do I jump on this offer?

Depends, the warrior is a good trail quad that has a virtually bullet proof motor. With the usual oil change and filter cleaning it will run for a long time unless previously abused. It has alot of low end grunt too.

I dont know much about the 400s but I believe they have more top end power than the warrior and probably a more fun factor because of it.

So its up to you, the warrior is a pretty fun reliable machine to play on, I cant say much about the 400s because I dont know much about them.
correct me if I'm wrong becuase I hate to give out bad info.

as cheap as that is i think you should jump on it dude, its not as fast as the 400's but tons of fun none the less and for that price its a real deal i think.

no bottom end if you can read the powercurve.
If you can't modify it why have it???

jcs003, whats with you and slamming warriors? Its not appropriate nor necessary to come to a forum to trash talk people and there machines. I think most of us would appreciate that you leave, and stop talking trash about our quads.

first, the man asked for advise and that is what he got. second, he recieved accurate information from me. and third, you and others were telling him things about the quad that just is not true as you did in another thread. my solution was to get real proof from yamaha and proven dyno sheets.

so, if i hurt your pride or delicate ego too bad DUDE. you can PISS OFF until you get your information straight.

and furthermore a yamaha warrior always had 6 gears in its transmission!!!
