    yfz wont start was running fine

    my friends yfz will not start he let his uncle use it to go to pismo beach ran fine. brought it back now wont start. his uncle put 87 octane or the cheap gas over there not sure if that has something to do with that if you can please help!

    Sounds like something electrical!
    May have a faulty ground somewhere.
    Did you check for spark?

    How long has it been since it was ran?
    Check compression. and/or
    Valves may need to be adjusted.

    Let us know what you come up with!

    Also try and clean the pilot jet!
    Spray carb. cleaner,
    use a trash bag metal twist tie to clean the pilot, and then blow some air through it.

    well found out what it was there is two clamps on the carb that hold the air filter tube the first one is right on the carb holding that plastic tube thats the small one then after that there is a big clamp i guess the srew came off while they were riding and the carb sucked in all kinds of sand. i took the carb off and aprayed carb cleaner and it starts right up now so thank you guys for the help

    Change that oil and check it to make sure there is no trash in it. Hopefully not alot of dirt got in there to mess anything up.
