    Cool succsesfully made my own nerf bars

    hey i was just going to let u know if u want to make some nerf bars at home its easy. just take some old tent poles. i hooked them on with hose clamps and its very sturdy. and if they get wrecked who cares! just make new ones. where the poles go together just drill a hole thought them both and put a pin in there. i just bought some straps for the webing i still have to put that on. its better than spending 100+ bucks

    Ummmm, I would not trust those to protect me. They do not sound very sturdy at all. Those tent posts that you are talking about are VERY thin....I wouldnt try to push off a tree with those...

    Im sure the way they look and the sturdyness of them, I would just go spend the 100bucks and have nice lookin and reliable nerfs but hey.... Post a pic of em...

    sorry guys no dig camera or scanner!! i had a scanner but it broke. they look great. and very sturdy! i dont know about the tent poles you have but mine are pretty thick. i will try to take a pic and send it in to put on a floppy.
