    XP 850 Reliability

Hey guys, just wondering how the new XP 850s are as far as reliability. A buddy of mine just got one, and after riding his I am really considering buying one after I pay off my Grizzly. So far his hasn't had any problems at all

Has anyone heard anything bad about them, or some weak points on them?

They are so new that not much info has come out about problems. I would think though like all first year models there will be problems reported soon. Spring is upon us and riding will start soon.

Polaris/Rath has had 3 riders in 3 GNCC races. I haven't heard of any problems?
They also ran the 12 hour race, Daryl told me the only issue was breaking a belt.

if you ride aggressively at all don't buy one they blow u joints and belts BAD. my buddy has one and he takes it in for warranty work at least once every 2 weeks. its in the shop more than its on the trails!!!! xp is supposed to mean extreme performance but it leaves you extremely pissed!!

    Polaris 850

Well, IMO the 850 is the very best atv I have ever owned, which includes 2 Rincons, a Brute Force, and other older Sportsman units. Lousy tires, had 3 flats in 1st 500 miles in 1 tire (slime saved the day). Drinks fuel (less than 70 miles per tank). But the power is terrific, power steering and active descent engine braking is phenomenal. I have 1000 on mine, friend has over 4000 miles on his and he rides hard. Still belt #1.
