Jeff Pickens was ready to go as we headed to the line. Pickens scored himself a top 10 finish at the opening round by finishing 8th.

After a dismal run at round 1 due to mechanical issues, Brandon Sommers was looking ahead to this round to get back in the top 5 and battle.

Ryan Lane caught up with the series at this round, and I was wanting to see if he would be rusty coming out of the off season. Lane capitalized on solid riding last season and worked his name into the top 10 at many rounds.

Chris Borich takes a look to his left as the seconds tick away prior to the green flag. I decided to hang back a bit from the first turn after taking a face full of roost during one of the AM class starts that had my left eye fuzzy the rest of the day

The green flag flew and my lens was trained on FRE-KTM's Adam McGill right from the start. McGills starts have been almost sheer perfection and I had a feeeling he would be the one to lock onto once again.
