I bought one for like $40 shipped from ebay and it was stainless with hex heads and worked out great. keep in mind that it is easier to strip the threads when using stainless, just be carefull not to over tighten!
No its not. the lowest grade stainless is equal to like a grade 5 steel bolt. If its 316 like it states, thats a higher grade of stainless.Originally posted by 400thacker

Yea. It's been a while since I've messed around with the quad altogether. I figured getting this would help me refresh my memory on the thing. I was thinking about getting a bolt kit too. I know right now I am missing 3 bolts in various places, and I'd like to have extras too. I'll probably get one of these kits when I get a few extra bucks.
