Shocks?

First I have read the other post concerning this but I am confused. New to riding quads. I have KFX 400 03. I want to replace the shocks. When you guys say 450r are you reffering to a Honda TRX 450r - they supposedly fit perfect, 2cd Do the KFX 450 shocks fit? Last My quad seems heavy when putting in truck it does have skid plates, dg bumper and nerf bars , ITP C series wheels.it just seems real heavy compared to all of my freinds who ride hondas.....Thanks really enjoy the forum..Kevin

Yep when we say 450r we are reffering to the TRX450R. You have a couple options for shocks. 450R, LTR, 05+ Z, and I hear the KFX450 shocks do fit with a little more work.

The Z isn't exactally a light bike. They are heavier them most 450's.

I have the 450r shocks on mine and they do bolt right up , they are a little stiff and need a lighter spring but they are much better than the stock shocks

I have a pair of 450r shocks in very good condition for sale. Its a great improvement compared to the stock '03 or '04 shocks. PM me if interested.

i found them to be to a night and day difference on my 03 Z
