    Picked up a 454

Picked up a 454 4x4 for dirt cheap that apparantly has an electrical problem. previous owner did not want to fool with it so we are going to totally restore. I have it stripped down to the frame, am going to remove all surface rust, paint, add new boots as necessary, new bearings, new plug, new High flow air filter, carb jet kit (I noticed this carb does not have the primer since it is a 96), new higher voltage coil, modify muffler to make it a tad more free flowing. Looks like the owner bought a new regulator. After getting it all back together, with new parts and oil change & filter, going to see if it will start, then if not, begin process of elimination to see where he problem is.
Quad has 26" Vampire Super Swampers and very nice rims.

Any experiences with he Beartcat 454 would be welcomed.
